Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your account holds an email address, an optional display name and a hashed password. When you submit audio we store the resulting transcript, its timestamps, the automatic summary, and basic metadata (file name, duration, detected language).

What happens to your audio

• Transcription runs with Whisper on GPU servers we operate ourselves. Your audio is never sent to a third-party transcription or AI provider.
• Uploaded source files are deleted from our servers as soon as processing finishes — succeed or fail.
• For URL submissions we download the audio only for the duration of processing.

Summaries

To generate the automatic summary, the transcript text (never the audio) is processed by a large-language-model API. If you prefer that your text never leaves our infrastructure, contact us and we will disable summaries for your account.

Who can see your transcripts

Only you. Transcripts are private to your account and are not published, indexed or shared. Our operators can access stored data solely for support and abuse prevention.

Emails

We send transactional email only: a notification when a transcript finishes, and answers to messages you send us. No marketing lists.

Deletion

You can delete any transcript from its page at any time — deletion is immediate and permanent. To delete your whole account, contact us.
